2009 Fishing Season

To fish any tournament this year for the St. Catharines Bassmasters Club you will need to have your fishing license for the body of water that is selected ie if you plan to fish early season you will need a New York License, Need to have paid your club dues, and have a Bassmasters Magazine subscription and or proof. Club Information

The St. Catharines Bassmasters was formed in March of 1996 with a total of 12 members. We have grown to over 40 members representing the entire Niagara Region. We are one of approximately 30 chapter clubs of the Ontario Bassmasters Federation (O.B.F.), the 50th Federation in the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.).

The St. Catharines Bassmasters offer an opportunity for Bass anglers of all skill levels to meet and share ideas and information with each other. The club organizes tournament events, seminars, community based youth activities, and, fishery enhancement projects.

The St. Catharines Bassmasters strive to provide a competitive tournament schedule that encourages friendship, sportsmanship, fun and a learning experience for all skill levels. The St. Catharines Bassmasters tournaments are "draw" format pairing a boater with a non-boater. You do not have to own a boat to participate in club tournaments!

The St. Catharines Bassmasters support the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority with their Welland River Restoration project.

The St. Catharines Bassmasters meet on the second Monday of the month . For details, email us at stcatharinesbassmasters@cogeco.ca . Meetings start at 7:00. Note: No meetings are held in July and August. All are welcome to attend meetings.
